Luis started dancing salsa in Los Angeles 1987 growing up with dancers like Rogelio Moreno and the Vazquez brothers and Abel Peña just to name a few.

Luis moved to Dallas in 2000 and began teaching in the North Dallas area, and is still teaching at the present time.
He has taught individuals, groups and corporate groups at the beginners, intermediate and advanced levels.
